Maverick Kart
Maverick Kart Endurance Chassis
Karting Solutions is home to the highly successful Maverick Endurance chassis, an Australian designed, Australian built twin-engine endurance kart platform developed for serious 4-stroke endurance racing.
Originally developed by Drew Russell in 2018, the Maverick Kart has built a strong reputation across SEK, TEKA and ERC competition, with championship results, outright wins, class wins and podiums across multiple seasons.
Australian Built Endurance Kart Performance
The Maverick Endurance chassis was created for the demands of Australian twin-engine endurance karting. It is built for racers who need speed, reliability, serviceability and consistency over long-format racing.
After a break in production during the COVID years, the Maverick chassis returned to production in January 2023, manufactured by Karting Solutions under the guidance of Drew Russell. This brought the Maverick back with improved production processes, including CNC bending and laser technology to improve accuracy, repeatability and chassis consistency.
Built for endurance racing: the Maverick Kart is designed around the practical realities of twin-engine racing — chassis repeatability, reliability, setup consistency, parts support and race-winning performance over long-distance events.
Maverick Kart Results & Racing Record
The Maverick Endurance chassis has achieved major success in Australian endurance karting in a relatively short period of time.
Proven in Australian endurance racing: from early success in SEK to TEKA championships and ERC results, the Maverick chassis has proven itself in competitive 4-stroke endurance racing.
Maverick Kart Timeline
The Maverick chassis was developed by Drew Russell as a purpose-built endurance kart platform for Australian 4-stroke racing.
After early success in SEK, the Maverick moved into the ultra-competitive TEKA series and achieved three consecutive championships in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
After a break in production during the COVID years, the Maverick returned in January 2023, manufactured by Karting Solutions under Drew Russell's guidance with improved CNC bending and laser technology.
2023 was a building year, with the factory Maverick / Karting Solutions team taking multiple wins in the ERC championship.
In 2024, Maverick moved into the Karting NSW ERC endurance championship and clinched its first A Grade championship as Maverick Kart. This was backed up by Drew Russell taking the outright win in the ERC 24 Hour, with a total of three outright wins and sixteen class podiums in ERC competition alone.
In 2025, Karting Solutions expanded to a three-kart team competing across all three ERC grades. Customer Maverick karts also increased, adding more class wins and podiums across the season.
The ERC campaign delivered three outright wins, ten class wins and twenty-five podiums across three classes. The Karting Solutions team also took all three class wins at Canberra, finished 1st, 5th and 6th outright at the ERC 24 Hour, and won all three 2025 grade championships.
